WhatsApp connection & recovery
This is a local indicator, not proof that WhatsApp delivered every message. If it turns stale, inspect the collector logs and compare group activity with WhatsApp.
Import a WhatsApp chat
Use an exported .zip or .txt chat. The source file remains on your Mac; data is saved in SQLite.
For testing only. Export group IDs are placeholders until an authorized live connector supplies real IDs.

WhatsApp groups — one inbox per customer
The Group ID keeps every message, edit, deletion and draft attached to the same conversation. Names are labels, not identifiers. Search, select a group and see its history under one heading.

Delivery photo review
Check the actual image in WhatsApp, then link it to the matching delivery mention. An image alone does not prove delivery. New image metadata is tracked from v0.5.2; older pictures may need to be sent again.

Review before posting
Only sales, payments, expenses, commission, discounts and returns with a verified amount can be approved in this pilot. Delivery messages remain informational until a dedicated stock workflow is added.
Payment slips & serial-number photos
Original documents and unverified readings, kept together by group.
A payment slip is not confirmation of money received. Check amounts and every serial character against the original. These readings do not post accounting entries or approve payments.
Captured messages
Latest message text appears here; edits and deletions are preserved in the Change / deletion log. Extracted hints require review.
WhatsApp change / deletion audit
Edit and delete-for-everyone events are recorded with previous and revised text. Original evidence is preserved. Neither edits nor deletions reverse approved journal entries.
Cancellation requests requiring manual matching
A written cancel/hold instruction is NOT an automatic cancellation. Confirm order reference, quantity, customer and timing before adjusting any approved transaction.
WhatsApp message edit history
Original and edited text are preserved. Approved journal entries are never automatically changed.
Customer balances
Based on manually approved local journal records only — not FastAccounts balances.
Accounting journal
Double-entry internal pilot journal; not a tax invoice or a statutory ledger.
Manual stock adjustment
Use only for test quantities. Physical reconciliation and serial controls are not complete.
Stock summary
Registered groups
Permanent Group IDs identify chats. The name is collected from WhatsApp where available; if its lookup fails, enter the exact name manually below. Approved journals are never silently renamed.
People & access
Create a separate operations login. They can see and approve or reject pending drafts only in assigned WhatsApp groups. Only you can clear holds, manage users, export all data, or make stock adjustments.
Sharing status: local Mac only. These accounts are ready for use here; access from another device needs a separately configured secure connection.
